Key Responsibilities:
- Develop and implement quality procedures based on customer requirements and specifications
- Analyze data to create measurable quality improvement plans and recommendations
- Conduct product monitoring, testing, and inspection to verify compliance with specifications
- Review engineering drawings to identify critical characteristics and items
- Participate in First Article Inspections (FAIs) and Material Review Boards (MRBs)
- Lead internal audits to prepare for external certifications and audits
- Investigate root causes of defects and recommend preventive measures
- Maintain accurate quality records and support Quality Management System (QMS) compliance
- Deliver training to enhance quality processes and customer satisfaction
- Evaluate supplier performance and perform supplier audits as needed
- Support production teams to ensure adherence to quality standards
Requirements:
- B.S. in Engineering or related field
- Proven quality engineering experience, ideally in aerospace or defense industries
- Knowledge of AS9100, Nadcap, and other relevant quality certifications
- Hands-on inspection experience to IPC-620/WHMA-A-620C and J-STD-001 standards
- Familiarity with CAD/CATIA and GD&T principles
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite
- Must meet U.S. person requirements as defined by export control regulations
